Hey guys. So I've been neglecting this site and I apologize. I will once again be checking in often and lets see if we can get a few more members!

hi......thank you for the mesg. I love your photo's......you have to move where you can have a big dog---they are soooo wonderful as you know! couldn't live without 'em. Hi Mickala
Ralph is with me for a year, he actually belongs to my son’s girlfriend, the two of them are travelling around the world. He is the smallest dog I’ve had, but boy, you really know he’s around. He gets on so well with the Newfs and it’s like he’s been here all his life. He is a friendly, happy little chap and just loves company, animals and humans alike, so he’s settled in easily here with his two playmates. I would say the only problem he has is that he chews anything and everything so he does take some watching. He used to get quite upset when left but now that he has company, it is no longer an issue. They do need lots of exercise and a good recall is a must because if they get the sent of something all their training goes out of the window! I think you’d have a lot of fun with a beagle, I hope so, must say I’m going to find it jolly hard to part with him in a year’s time.

Thank you Mickala and hello all. I just picked up my pup Quincy last weekend at 13 weeks. I've always had rotties in my past so he is my first English Mastiff. Great job w/the site!

Thanks Mickala. I like your dogs. I have a Mastiff/Lab mix, a Dutch Shepherd, a Lab mix, and a Great Pyr that ACTUALLY earns his keep by working (he guards my goats and chickens). I hope to get more pics loaded soon.

Thank you for the warm welcome! & hi to all the members. My husband & I are hugh fans of the big dogs. We always rescue and we have had the bests dogs ever! Big dogs run our lives. I bought a car just for my dogs, then we bought a ranch for our dogs! we are HOOKED. The beautiful girl on the left in my pic is Clemintine, (found stray on the streets of downtown L.A.) And The big boy on the right is Bartholamew Winston (relinquished to the rescue because "he got too big to handle").

His name is Jake and he's my special boy. I also have his cousin, a cute bitch called Tehya and Ralph, a beagle - much smaller but big in character.

What Breed(s) do you have?
My parents have a Great Dane, I currently do not live where i can have a big dog.

I was raised with and by Great Pyrenees.
What's your favorite thing about big dogs?
I love how friendly and kind they generally are. I have been around them since I was born so they are what I prefer. There is nothing like cuddling up with a giant hug and a big sloppy kiss.

Ivan is a very gentle and curious rescue dane. He is 6+ years but he will forever act like a puppy, and a lap dog... =) He is also the official product tester for bigtalldog.com

Hi gang! I'm sure you'll notice we changed the name of the page. I stumbled upon another group name "just gentle giants" so we decided to change it. I also think "Drool Pool" is a great name for our community!
