The 1st Puppy- What breed should join the Obama's in the White House?
So, America has chosen our next President, and of course the thing I'm wondering about is that 1st puppy the President-Elect has promised his two little girls. SO, we all know our dogs, what dog do you think would be a good addition to the white house?
My mother Val thinks a Landseer Newfoundland for these reasons:
1) black and white (symbolic),
2) it is the original nanny dog
3) it has a reputation for saving drowning people (also symbolic, economy etc).
I agree with the Newfoundland, but I also think a Pyrenees would be terrific, maybe I am biased, but I know they are great with kids, and would definitely become second guardians!
Please post your responses, and after we have a few I will post them on the Obama website!
